  We said a fond farewell and a huge thank you this week to Bob Harper, who has supported the school enormously in a variety of roles, including, quite recently, as Chair of Governors.

   

  Bob has been a member of the Governing Board of the school for over 16 years and, during that time, has worked tirelessly to support the pupils, parents and staff in all aspects of school life.

   

  We would like to wish Bob all the best as he steps down from his role as Governor. Thank you for everything you have done for the school - and for being an inspiration to us all.

  

• Y6 Leavers

  There were fond memories shared today in our Year 6 Leavers' Assembly. The children entertained parents, governors and invited guests with songs, poems and memories of their time here at Howitt. All leavers were presented with a gift by our Co-Chairs of Governors. We wish all of our Year 6 children all the best for the future as they step out on the next part of their journey. We will miss you!

  

• Aladdin

  Year 6 wowed us this week with superb performances of 'Aladdin'. Their hard work paid off and the audiences were treated to some top-quality acting, and foot-tapping songs. There were great performances from Aladdin, Princess Jasmine, Iago, the Genie and many more entertaining characters. Well done Year 6 - a fantastic show!
