Week 1:

This week we would like you to think about the place you live.  Can you find out the answers to the following questions?

 

Do you live in Heanor or Loscoe?

Do you live in a city or a town?

Are they any shops near to where you live and can you name them?

How do you move around your local area? Do you walk? Maybe you catch a bus?

Can you name anywhere important in your area?

Are there any churches or old buildings near where you live and can you name them?

 

If it is safe for you and your family to do so, can you  and your family walk around your local area and see what different places you can find?  You could even take photos of you on your walk at the different places!
