Extra-Curricular activities

Extra-curricular activities and clubs are continuing to grow at Howitt; and throughout the year we encourage children to access a wide variety of sports including football, dodgeball, archery and gymnastics.

We want all children to be involved in sport and physical activity as much as possible and all children take part in a whole school house sport competition each term. Children from Reception all the way up to Year 6 recently practiced their throwing skills in a game of playground darts.

We also encourage all children to achieve their full potential in Physical Education and support those identified as most-able. We run additional lunch time clubs for these pupils where they spend quality time with our specialist sports coach.
