In your nursery home learning pack there is information about books you can access online. The books that have been allocated are for you to read to your child and to talk about with them. Please use the books to focus on letter sounds, to hear and say the beginning sounds of words (initial sounds), and to model segmenting and blending (c-a-t cat). You can also talk about the events, setting and characters.
Use the parent guide and follow the instructions to login to your child's account.

Please encourage your child to count lots of different things, this could be around the house or when you are having your daily walk. Please take some photos of your child counting and send them to school.
Introduce number recognition by looking for numbers on toys, phones, computers, houses...
Where else can they find numbers? Go on a number hunt.
