Our theme this term is: Our World and Beyond

Our key question is:

How does Heanor’s human and physical features compare to those of a coastal town?

To start our topic lessons, we looked at a map of the United Kingdom and discussed where we have been in the UK.   We then learnt what is meant by a 'coastal town' and found coastal towns we have visited on holiday.
