Below are lots of activities to support the work that is being carried out in class.

First watch the powerpoint presentation and carry out the activities as you go along.

Then complete the corresponding worksheet.

Activities to do with the 100 square: 

 

- read the numbers 

- adult says a number and child writes the number

- count forwards and backward 

-write numbers as words

-put counters on some random number, which numbers are hidden?

-count in 2s,5s,and 10s from 0

-look for patterns

-print out sheet and cut it up and put it back together again
