Summer 1
Magical Minibeasts!
This term our learning will be inspired by the magical world of minibeasts. We will be exploring our school grounds to discover different micro - habitats and we will find out where different minibeasts live. We will be investigating and finding out how important minibeasts are to our daily lives and we will be exploring how we can help to look after minibeasts and their homes.
This half term, we are also looking forward to coming together as a school community to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III.
Minibeast hunting
We have enjoyed being creative. Take a look at some of our minibeasts. We have used paint, pencils, collage materials and loose parts.
Being Creative
Coronation Celebrations
We have enjoyed learning about and celebrating the coronation of King Charles III.
Portraits of King Charles III by Busy Bees
We celebrated the coronation with a picnic at lunchtime and enjoyed celebrating with the nursery and taking part in some coronation crafts.
Bees:
We have enjoyed learning about bees! We have found out lots of information about bees and we discovered why they are so important to our everyday lives. We celebrated World Bee Day and invited our grown ups in to take part in some eco crafts and together we created our very own seed bombs to plant at home and within our community.
