What was life like in ancient Egypt?

This half term we have been learning all about ancient Egypt. We got 'hooked' into our learning through a lesson looking at different ancient Egyptian artefacts. We also learnt how to write our names in heiroglyphics! We then moved on to learning about how we know about ancient Egypt. We studied historical sources of evidence, just like real historians would. We have learnt about the river Nile, daily life and the social structure of ancient Egypt, linking to our theme of social justice. We are looking forward to continuing our learning on the ancient Egyptians next half term.
