The Victorians

This term, we are very excited to be learning all about Queen Victoria and the Victorian era. The children have been very busy exploring the inventions that the Victorians gave us, researching all about Queen Victoria and investigating the British Empire.

Meet the Author - Berlie Doherty

Children in Year 5 and 6 were very lucky to meet the author of our class book, Berlie Doherty. We had a Zoom call in which she talked about her life as an author and specifically about Street Child. The children were given an opportunity to ask questions and we even got a Tweet from Berlie Doherty!
