So many events towards the end of term - we enjoyed having a visit from the KS3 Science team at Heanor Gate Spencer Academy - testing foods with different qualitative reagents. We carried out Benedict's Test, the biuret test and used iodine, looking for sugars, starches and proteins. Year 5 loved it!
