Our topic question this half term is

'How do natural disasters affect human life?'

In our topic lessons we learnt all about tectonic plates and how they can cause earthquakes. This can then lead to other natural disasters such as tsunamis! We used card to represent how tectonic plates move and how they van sometimes slip and cause devastating affects. 

In our English lessons we made our own exploding volcanoes! We had to design and create them and then use our science skills to make them explode! 

After we had done this, we wrote a set of instructions to give to someone who might want to make their own at home.
