Spring 1 - Fair trade
Our learning this half term will focus on a geography unit all about trade and fair trade. Our enquiry question is 'Does our world work in a fair way?'
We have really enjoyed our topic this half term learning all about trade. We have learnt about trade around the world as well as trade in the UK. We have researched which countries the UK trades with and located them on a world map. We have also learnt about the importance of fairtrade and the difference in can make to people's lives around the world. We ended our topic by learning about how trade has changed over time, from the Tudors to the Victorians and on to today. We even considered what trade might look like in the future...
