Our Topic this half term is 'How is air pollution harming the environment?'

To get hooked into our learning, we had lots of pictures to look at to help us guess what our new topic was. After realising it was linked to pollution, we then recapped the 4 main types of pollution and identified the main causes of these. We are now looking forward to learning more about air pollution.

Where in the world has the lowest levels of air pollution?

We worked in pairs to independently research and find out the names, populations and sizes of the world's least polluted countries. We then discussed the reasons why these countries have lower levels of air pollution. Finally, we collated all our new knowledge to create fantastic posters all about the least polluted places in the world!
