This term we have been introduced to our topic question:
Why are the world's rainforests important to us?
We have looked at the difference between tropical and temperate rainforests and located these on a world map. This led directly onto looking at the climate zones and how they vary depending on their position to the equator. We are really looking forward to learning specifically about the Amazon Rainforest in much more detail after the half term.
We had lots of fun on World Book Day!
