Autumn 2
Let's Celebrate!
This half term our topic has been 'Let’s Celebrate’. The children have continued learning all about the autumn season including the weather, night and day, light and dark and local animals. There are lots of different celebrations at this time of year, and the children have had the opportunity to learn about Bonfire Night, Diwali, Remembrance day and Christmas. The nursery children also decided that they wanted to learn all about how we celebrate birthdays.
Christmas
At the end of the half term we learned all about the celebration Christmas. The children took part in lots of different activities, read stories and watched videos about how and why we celebrate Christmas.
