Nature’s Toy Box

This term the children will be exploring their natural environment and the seasonal changes that occur in autumn.  They will think about animals that hibernate and how plants change throughout autumn.  We will use autumn colours to inspire our art work.

We are really excited to begin our first Christmas performance, which we look forward to sharing with our grown-ups.

Our Christmas Homework Project:

We had lots of fun at home making Christmas decorations with our grown ups.  We then brought them into school and put them on display for our grown ups to come and see.

Thank you for coming to our biscuit and craft sale to raise money for Children in Need.  We managed to raise £33.28p. 

Remembrance Day

We have spent some time learning about the importance of Remembrance Day and thinking about the different reasons you can see people wearing poppies. In class, we choose to bake, create and sew our own poppies.

Pumpkins!

We have started our learning journey by exploring pumpkins. 

Some of us enjoyed using a range of different tools safely to investigate and explore the insides of various pumpkins of all sorts of different shapes and sizes.
