Howitt Primary Community School
Welcome to the Howitt Primary website. I would like to take this opportunity to give you a brief introduction to the school, its values and aims.
Howitt is a larger than average primary school, with approximately 400 pupils. We are lucky to have our own purpose built Nursery, so that children can learn here from an early age. In the main school, there are 2 classes for each year group and we are well supported by our dedicated team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants who help each child to get the most out of learning.
Howitt Year 3 and 4 children took part in a football tournament at Heanor Town Football Club on Friday night. After the group games the two Howitt teams had to play each other in the semi final which ended 1-0 to Team A. Team A then went on to win the final 1-0 with an excellent goal.
