Autumn 1 - France
Our question this half term is:
'Why do different countries around the world speak French?'
We have enjoyed our learning so far in our topic. We have read the book 'A Walk in Paris' where we learnt about lots of famous landmarks in Paris. We have located where France is in the world using maps, atlases and globes and learnt that France is part of Europe. We learnt about the French artist 'Georges Seurat' and explored pointillism artwork. We then recreated the Eiffel Tower in this style and we were very proud of our finished products!
We are looking forwards to finding out why different countries around the world speak French next!
