School refurbishment

The Queen’s 90th Birthday

  The children have had a great week (6.6.16) learning facts about The Queen and the Royal Family.  The children celebrated in the whole school assembly sharing what they had learnt about The Queen.                     The children enjoyed a picnic on the field. They also took part in a parade around the local area.

Andy Tooze, Poet

Children in school this week are enjoying a fun filled 3 days full of poetry.  Local poet Andy Tooze is working with each class in school helping children to write and perform their own poems.  We started the fun off with Andy reading some of his own poems in our school assembly.   The reception classes really enjoyed Andy Tooze and his poetry.

Athletic Event with James Kirton Olympic Swimmer
